Creative Services - Videographer/Editor

The Creative Services Videographer/Editor position is fulltime, this person will write, shoot and needs to be able to non-linearly edit with a knowledge of graphics, Adobe products and skills will be used for commercial and promotional content. Qualified individuals will be able to work well in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment, self-motivated; flexible; extremely organized; very detail oriented; strong problem solver; works well with advertising clients, and have a positive attitude. • Must be able to write, shoot and edit video with graphics/text effects in a file-based environment • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud with emphasis on Premier and After Effects is preferred • Ability to meet deadlines in a high pressure setting • Must possess a valid driver's license • Must have excellent verbal and written skills • Must be able to work individually, and/or in a group Dynamic • Should be able to demonstrate initiative, creativity and a composition eye for photography, and graphics • Other duties as assigned by the Creative Services Director Requirements Must be able to lift, carry, and work with cameras, lighting equipment, props, and set pieces weighing up to 40 pounds when necessary. Digital Producer - Fulltime

We are looking for a Digital Producer to work on the WILX website and social media platforms. This person will be expected to write and produce multi-media news, features, be on top of breaking news stories and trends on social media. Responsibilities include: Creating, managing and editing text, video and other content for all of WILX TV’s digital platforms, including websites, apps and social media. Aggressively pursuing news tips and reporting on breaking news on digital formats. Cross-promoting stories between the newscasts, web and social sites driving viewers across multiple platforms. Collaborating with others in the newsroom on developing stories and best practices for digital publishing. Contributing to the WILX News 10 social media community. Live streaming to web and social sites. Analytics reporting. Candidates should be able to work quickly to meet deadlines in a very demanding news environment; must be able to multitask; must be a self-starter and must be able to work a flexible schedule. Applicants must be proficient in grammar, punctuation and spelling, as well as having excellent writing and communication skills. Preferred candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Communications, English or another related field. Photographer Part-Time

Union, Non-Exempt, Part-time WILX is a drug free work environment. All candidates must pass a drug screening prior to employment. Also, candidates must provide proof of a good driving record. General purpose of Position: To generate content for broadcasts, web channel and social media. Job Description: The Photographer's primary focus will be to shooting/editing video and general news gathering, either teamed with a reporter or solo for across various media channels. The photographer will operate microwave and TVU remote systems. Qualified individuals will be able to work well in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment, self-motivated; flexible; extremely organized; very detail oriented; tenacious, yet tactful; strong problem solver; able to work well under pressure in order to meet deadlines and will have a positive attitude.
