Lansing police officers are investigating a local woman's death. The 26-year-old was found lying on the ground on the 600 Block of South Butler early Sunday morning. For now, police are calling it a murder. Officers say they received a call regarding disturbance in the area at 1:38 a.m. The Lansing Police Department does not have a suspect, but officers are interviewing local residents for information on the case. Following protocol, Lansing Police Department will not release the victim's name until family members have been notified.
