Nicholas provides weekend weather forecasts on News 10. He joins WILX after delivering weather forecasts for stations in Mississippi and Indiana.

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications from Ball State University, where he minored in Operational Meteorology/Climatology. Nicholas also earned a Master's degree in Geosciences/Broadcast Meteorology from Mississippi State University.

Although Nicholas is a big fan of the famous late-night host Ball State produced, he attributes his interest in a career in broadcasting to Regis Philbin.

While a middle school student, Nicholas was watching “Live! with Regis and Kathie Lee” when it happened…something clicked…and he realized he wanted to entertain and inform people just like Regis.

That’s why you’ll hear Nicholas add in some fun moments to his weathercasts. It’s all the information you need for the day ahead plus something to put a smile on your face.

Nicholas is a member of the American Meteorological Society, the National Weather Association and Kiwanis International.
