Liam grew up in Boston and graduated from Harvard University in 2006 with a degree in Government. It was there that his love for journalism first began, as he covered the varsity baseball and basketball teams for Harvard Student Radio.

He then went on to earn his Master's in Journalism at
Northwestern University, in Chicago.

Before making the move to News 10, Liam was the Boston Celtics beat writer for the New England Sports Network, and served as a production assistant and writer for Bloomberg News in New York.

Liam has covered a wide array of issues, from sports in Boston, to social issues in Chicago, to politics in Washington, D.C. for the Medill News Service.

He's a huge sports fan and counts Tom Izzo among his favorite coaches.
