Lauren is a Michigan native who brings a world of experiences to News 10. She hails from the Detroit suburb of Farmington Hills and earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan. She also has a Master’s degree from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.

Lauren's proud her reporting has been recognized with awards, including "Best In Individual Reporting" from the Associated Press, and "Best Breaking News Report" and "Best Feature News Report" from the Michigan Association of Broadcasters.

Before coming to Michigan's capital, she covered politics for News 10 from our nation's capital. She also honed her television skills as a special programs intern for WDIV Detroit, and has experience as a radio reporter.

The Wolverine football fanatic is an avid runner, enjoys playing tennis, lives for crossword puzzles and loves traveling abroad. After all her travels she says her favorite places on Earth (besides Michigan) are Turkey and Sioux City, Iowa.
