Lauren is a Michigan native who brings a world of experiences to News 10. She hails from the Detroit suburb of Farmington Hills and earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan. She also has a Master’s degree from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.

Lauren's reporting has been recognized by the Michigan Association of Broadcasters and the Associated Press, including 2009 MAB Best Reporter, 2008 AP Best Reporter, and 2007 MAB Best Feature and Best Breaking News.

Besides reporting, the Wolverine fanatic loves watching college sports, playing tennis, doing crosswords and traveling abroad. After all her travels she says her favorite places on Earth (besides Michigan) are Turkey and Sioux City, Iowa.
