Connect With Me:

Lorne joined the News 10 team in June 2013 and couldn't be happier to be living his dream as a video journalist in Lansing.

No stranger to a cooler climate, Lorne comes fresh off four years of snowy winters at Syracuse University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Spanish.

During the school year, you could find Lorne at SU's student-run television station, CitrusTV, doing anything he could get his hands on in the sports, news, and Spanish news departments. In the summers Lorne spent his time interning at his hometown station, CBS 4 News, in Denver.

Those invaluable experiences landed him a part-time reporting job at WBNG-TV in Binghamton in his final semester. It also helped him win first place in the prestigious Hearst Journalism Television Features Competition and fourth place in the overall competition.

Outside of the office Lorne loves to play tennis, listen to the Beatles, and dance the Jitterbug and Lindy Hop. He's also a devoted Colorado Avalanche fan who is having a hard time with all the wings and wheels around town.

Lorne wants to tell your stories and the stories that matter to you. Please don't hesitate to send an email, even just to say hello!
