Jamie is a Pittsburgh native who joined WILX in November of 2007. Jamie earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware and she received her her Master's Degree in Broadcast Journalism from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern.

While in grad school, Jamie worked for WBOY - TV as a Washington correspondent. She also interned at KDKA in Pittsburgh, where she will never forget interviewing Sidney Crosby in the Penguins' locker room.

Jamie is an avid sports fan. The Steelers & the Penguins are her favorite teams. She's such a fanatic, that she almost lost her part-time job to go to the Steelers Super Bowl victory parade in 2006.

Jamie has been involved with sports her whole life. She was a competitive figure skater for 13 years, and still enjoys going to the rink and teaching young kids the art of skating. That's not all Jamie has done on the ice... in High School Jamie played prep hockey.
