Yankees Beat Tigers

The Detroit Tigers 10-game winning streak at Comerica Park ended Wednesday night in a 12-8 loss to the New York Yankees. Curtis Granderson hit a three run homer early off Anibal Sanchez and the Yankees had an early 5-0 lead. It got to 7-0 before the Tigers narrowed the gap to 8-7. But the Yankees pulled away to win their first of the three games in the series. The finale is set for 1:05pm on Thursday before the Tigers hit the road for series' in Texas and Minnesota.
