Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy, both struggling with their golf games the past few weeks, rallied Thursday from some poor holes to shoot sub par rounds at the Memorial Tournament which began in Dublin, Ohio. Woods birdied three of the par fives and overcame a double bogey to shoot a two under par 70-- at the time one shot off the lead. McIlroy, who has missed consecutive cuts for the first time in his career, overcame a quadruple bogey seven to shoot a one under par 71. McIlroy tweeted later he was satisfied and headed to the practice tee.
