Tiger Woods missed the cut by one shot Friday at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship in the United Arab Emirates. Woods was given a two stroke penalty on the fifth hole for taking an improper drop after not consulting with a rules official. Rory McIlroy also missed the cut. Woods was given a $3 million appearance fee to play in the tournament. His PGA tournament debut begins next week in San Diego.
