Women’s Basketball Enters Associated Press Top 25

EAST LANSING, Mich. – The Michigan State women’s basketball team is No. 25 in the latest Associated Press national poll, released on Monday. The Spartans, who are 16-2 on the season and 4-1 in the Big Ten, enter the top-25 for the first time since the end of the 2010-11 season.

MSU is one of four Big Ten schools in the ranking, joining No. 8 Penn State, No. 15 Purdue and No. 23 Michigan. Iowa and Nebraska are also receiving votes.

Michigan State travels to Nebraska on Thursday for an 8 p.m. ET tip, before coming home on Sunday to face Purdue at 4 p.m. on ESPN2.
