DeWitt High School junior Jordyn Wieber was announced Wednesday as a semi-finalist for the AAU's Sullivan Award. It is presented annually to America's top amateur athlete. Voting is done by the public through March 9th. Wieber is the 2011 world all around champion. Three gymnasts have previously won the Sullivan-- Shawn Johnson in 2008, Paul hamm in 2004 and Kurt Thomas in 1979.
