Minnesota Vikings coach Leslie Frazier says he is hopeful he will have defensive tackle Kevin Williams back from a knee injury in time for the season opener at Detroit against the Lions. The game is set for 1pm on September 8th. Williams suffered a bruised and hyperextended right knee on a low block in a game against San Francisco on Sunday night. Frazier says Williams is listed as day to day and the team will monitor his progress as the opener against the Lions approaches.
