Connecticut basketball coach Jim Calhoun has been released from the hospital following surgery to repair a hip fracture. Calhoun went home Tuesday afternoon, is reportedly in good spirits and will begin rehabilitation. No timetable has been set for his return to work.
The 70-year old Hall of Famer inijured his left hipSaturday in a fall during a bicycle ride near his beach home in Madison and underwent surgery that night to repair the fracture.
