Louisville has given head football coach Charlie Strong a raise and contract extension. Strong turned down a reported $4 million per year offer to coach Tennessee. And Cincinnati's Butch Jones has said not to a 5-year $13.5 million offer to coach Colorado.
Those two jobs remain open along with Louisiana Tech, Western Michigan, Temple. Kent State and Wisconsin among others.
