Tigers Win at Kansas City Again

The Detroit Tigers beat the Royals 3-1 at Kansas City Tuesday, making it two for two in the series and three straight wins overall. Miguel Cabrera snapped out of an 0 for 22 slump with a pair of hits including the game winning RBI single in the 8th inning. Prince Fielder had a pair of hits and an insurance RBI single following Cabrera's hit. Jose Valverde pitched the 9th inning for his second save in three games. The Tigers have an 8-3 record and close out the series with a final 8:05pm game on Wednesday before returning home to face the Texas Rangers.
