The Texas Rangers are the hottest team in the American League-- they improved to 11-2 with a convincing 10-3 win at Comerica Park Thursday night over the Detroit Tigers. Tigers pitcher Adam Wilk made his second career start and he was roughed up early. The Rangers put the game away with a 5-run 8th inning to make the score 10-1 before the Tigers scored two meaningless runs in the bottom half of the inning. Detroit falls to 9-4. Game two is at 7:05pm Friday.
