Tigers Lose to Twins

The Detroit Tigers lost 11-7 to the Minnesota Twins Wednesday night at Comerica Park, the opener of a two game series. The teams meet again at 1pm Thursday. The Twins, with a 10-26 record, worst in the major leagues, pounded out 14 hits and took advantage of four Tigers errors. Austin Jackson suffered a mild abdominal sprain and had to leave the game and is listed as day to day. The Tigers record falls to 18-19 and they have lost six of their last ten games.
