Miguel Cabrera had two hits including a home run and the Detroit Tigers opened a 4-game series in St. Petersburg with a 5-2 win over the Tampa Bay Rays Thursday night. The Tigers had a two game losing streak entering the four game series. Max Scherzer was the starting pitcher and winner for the Tigers who now have a 37-39 record.
