Doug Fister gave up two hits and struck out 10 in eight innings Wednesday night, leading the Detroit Tigers to a 7-2 win over the Los Angeles Angels at Comerica Park. The Tigers avenged a 13-0 loss from Tuesday night and lead the series 2-1 with a matinee at 1pm Thursday set to conclude the matchup. The Tigers scored four runs in the second inning, two on a Prince Fielder single. Albert Pujols homered in the first for the Angels. The Tigers are now 48-44 on the season.
