The Detroit Tigers didn't get their first hit until the 8th inning, but they won their exhibition opener Friday at Disney World over the Atlanta Braves 2-1. And the back up players did the damage. Tyler Collins and Jeff Kobernus hit back to back triples in the 8th inning and Hernan Perez added a sacrifice fly to score Detroit's two runs. Joey Terdoslavich homered for the Braves in the 9th to avoid the shutout. The teams play in Lakeland Saturday.
