Tigers Swept at Washington

The Washington Nationals completed a two game sweep of the Detroit Tigers Thursday with a 5-4 victory. The Tigers return to Detroit to face the Cleveland Indians Friday night to begin a weekend series. Detroit is now 19-13 on the season. Doug Fister lost his first game after three opening wins. Matt Tuiasasopo hit a pinch hit three run homer in the 6th inning to cut the Tigers' deficit from 5-1 to 5-4. It was the Tigers' first pinch hit homer since September, 2011.
