Torii Hunter hit a two out three run homer in the bottom of the 9th inning Thursday to give the Detroit Tigers a 7-6 win over the visiting Oakland A's. The Tigers scored four runs in the inning. Hunter's blast prevented Max Scherzer from losing his second game of the season. Oakland won the series three games to one. The Tigers, now 78-56, host the Cleveland Indians for three games beginning Friday night.
