Tigers Rally to Beat Boston

Jhonny Peralta's walk off two run homer in the bottom of the 9th inning Thursday gave the Detroit Tigers a 4-3 win over the Boston Red Sox in a game at Comerica Park. It was the first of a four game series and improved the Tigers' record to 40-31 and lengthens their lead to four games over the idle Cleveland Indians. The Tigers are now 2-2 on their homestand. It was the Tigers' first walk off homer this season. The teams meet again Friday night at 7:05.
