Ryan Dumit, who earlier hit a two run homer, singled in two runs in the 8th inning Friday night giving the Minnesota Twins a 4-2 win over the Detroit Tigers. Omar Infante tied the game for the Tigers in the 7th with a two run homer, his fourth with the Tigers. Detroit's record falls to 84-73 with 5 games remaining-- two more at Minnesota and three at Kansas City. Drew Smyley pitched six shutout innings to begin the game for the Tigers, but the Tigers could not grab the lead.
