Chris Herrmann's second RBI double of the game broke an eighth inning tie and helped the Minnesota Twins to a 7-6 win over the Detroit Tigers Thursday at Comerica Park. Centerfielder Austin Jackson just missed making the catch but Doug Bernier scored from second to gvie the Twins their winning run. Bruce Rondon, 1-2, took the loss. Detroit tied the game at 6-6 in the 6th inning but tied it up on Austin Jackson's three run home run. Justin Verlander allowed six runs and 10 hits in seven innings. The Tigers open a week end series in New York against the Mets on Friday night.
