Tigers Lose at Washington

The Detroit Tigers lost the first game of their road trip Wednesday night, 3-1 to the Nationals in Washington, D. C. The teams play a make up game at 4pm tomorrow before the Tigers return home to begin a weekend series against the Cleveland Indians. Miguel Cabrera's RBI single gave the Tigers a 1-0 lead but they couldn't score again. Bryce Harper hit his 10th homer for the Nationals off Tigers' starter and loser Anibal Sanchez. The Tigers now have a 19-12 season record, 4-1 on their current trip.
