Tigers Lose at Kansas City

All the runs were scored in the third inning Monday in the Detroit Tigers' 3-2 loss to the Royals in Kansas City. Miguel Cabrera's two run homer, his 18th of the season, gave the Tigers a short lived 2-0 lead. Doug Fister was the starting and losing pitcher for Detroit. The Tigers end their four game win streak and the Royals have now won six in a row. The teams play again Tuesday night in Kansas City. Detroit is now 35-27 on the season with 100 games remaining.
