The Detroit Tigers scored six runs in the first inning Wednesday night and went on to defeat the Chicago White Sox 7-2 at Comerica Park. The win ends a four game losing streak and the Tigers' record improves to 58-46 with 58 games remaining. Max Scherzer was the winning pitcher and he got help in the first inning on Nick Castellanos' three run homer. The teams finish the series with a 1pm game Thursday before the Colorado Rockies visit for a weekend series.
