Tigers Down A's in Game Four

The Detroit Tigers rallied from a 3-0 deficit to defeat the Oakland A's 8-6 Tuesday in game four of their divisional series. The series is even at two wins apiece with a deciding game five set for 8pm Thursday, Michigan time, in Oakland. Oakland's starter has not been announced but Justin Verlander will pitch for the Tigers. Jhonny Peralta's three run homer tied the game at 3-3 and Victor Martinez homered to tie the game 4-4. Omar Infante hit a big two run double as part of a three run eighth inning. The A's scored two in the 9th inning and had the tying run at the plate when Tigers' pitcher Joaquin Benoit finally got out of a jam.
