Tigers Beat Minnesota

The Detroit Tigers won their fifth straitght game Tuesday night, downing the Minnesota Twins 6-1 at Comerica Park. Miguel Cabrera and Prince Fielder each hit two run homers and Alex Avila hit a solo shot. Justin Verlander pitched into the 8th inning and improved his record to 3-2. The Tigers are now 15-10 on the season and close out the series with a 1pm game Wednesday before heading to Houston and a four game series with the Astros.
