Miguel Cabrera and Prince Fielder each homered Wednesday night leading the Detroit Tigers to a 7-1 win over the Cleveland Indians at Comerica Park. Doug Fister squared his record at 8-8 by giving up one run over seven innings. The Tiger salvaged the finale of a three game series and ended their homestand. They hit the road for ten games beginning Friday night in Anaheim against the Angels. The Tigers trail the Chicago White Sox by one game in the American League Central division with 25 games remaining. The teams meet four times next week in Chicago.
