Tigers Beat Cleveland

Justin Verlander pitched 7 strong innings and the Detroit Tigers beat the Indians 4-0 in Cleveland Friday night. The win was the Tigers' 3rd straight and assures them of being no worse than one game behind the Chicago White Sox in the Central Division race at the end of the day. The Tigers have two games left in Cleveland. They are now 76-67 on the season with 19 games remaining.
