Tigers Beat Cleveland

Max Scherzer pitched the Detroit Tigers to a 5-2 win over the Indians Wednesday night in Cleveland. The Tigers have now split the first two game sin the series and have won 14 of their last 17 games. They have a 53-45 record with 64 games to play. Jose Valverde pitched the 9th inning and gave up a solo homer to Travis Hafner, the 23rd in his career against Detroit. Quintin Berry had three hits for the Tigers.
