Swartzel Leads At Memorial

Former Masters champion Charl Schwartzel, despite making a double bogey, fired a 65 today for the first round lead at the Memorial Golf tournament in Dublin, Ohio. His seven under par total is six shots better than Tiger Woods, who bogeyed the 18th hole and needed 30 putts during his round. Former U. S. Open champion Rory McIlroy, who missed the cut at the Memorial a year ago, opened with a 6 over par 78.
