Spartans Ready For Louisville In Sweet 16 Showdown

Michigan State and Louisville hit the floor for the first time at the U.S. Airways Center on Wednesday as both teams held 50 minute practices. This matchup features two of the premiere coaches in college basketball. Rick Pitino is a perfect 9-and-oh in sweet 16 games and Tom Izzo has taken MSU to the Final Four everytime his team has been a number 1 seed. Something will have to give Thursday night.

Michigan State will have to deal with a full court press from Louisville, it's something that the Spartans haven't seen much of this season. Tom Izzo has a great track record of not just breaking presses but attacking them and that is what the Spartans plan to do.

Louisville is worried about rebounding and being physical enough with the green and white.
