Spartans Beat Purdue 11-4

Jeff Holm's three run homer spurred back to back four run innings in the middle of the game and Michigan State went on to record an 11-4 Big Ten baseball victory Friday over Purdue. The Spartans now sit alone atop the Big Ten standings at 11-5 while Purdue is 10-6. The teams meet at 1pm Saturday and Sunday. Torsten Boss hit a solo homer for MSU and Ryan Jones ran his nation's longest hitting streak to 31 with a one for four performance.
