The MSU women's golf team is in 9th place after the first day of the NCAA Regional championships at Penn State. the top 8 teams of the 24 in the field make the NCAA tournament which begins May 23rd in Franklin, Tenn. There are 36 holes remaining over the next two days. Carolinie Powers, Lindsey Solberg and Liz Nagel each shot 74 for the Spartans and they share 24th place individually.
