Le'Veon Bell carried 44 times for 210 yards and both touchdowns leading Michigan State' to a 17-13 season opening win over Boise State Friday night in Spartan Stadium. The Spartans trailed 13-10 until the midway point of the fourth quarter when Bell ran five yards to give the Spartans their winning margin. Andrew Maxwell passed for 228 yards but he threw three crucial first half interceptions, one of which was returned for a touchdown. MSU plays at Central Michigan September 8th at 3:30pm.
