Michigan State nearly blew a 17-point lead in the final eight minutes Tuesday night but survived in overtime to down third ranked Ohio State 72-68 in men's Big Ten basketball. The game at Breslin Center was going the Spartans' way at 55-38 when Ohio State ended regulation on a 20-3 run. But MSU made enough free throws in the extra five minutes and used a big three pointer from Adreian Payne to pull out the victory. MSU is now 14-1 on the season and 3-0 in the Big Ten. The Buckeyes fell to 15-1.
