Spartans Set to Hire Bollman?

Posted: Wed 5:16 PM, Feb 27, 2013

Multiple sources report Wednesday that Jim Bollman will become Michigan State's new offensive coordinator. Bollman was offensive coordinator at Ohio State under Jim Tressel when current MSU head coach Mark Dantonio was the Buckeyes' defensive coordinator. Bollman was an assistant at Boston College last season and became offensive line coach at Purdue in January. He was to be paid $240,000 per year but then the MSU offer apparently came along. Bollman was an assistant with Dantonio at Michigan State from 1995-97 under then head coach Nick Saban. He'll replace Dan Roushar who left to become running backs coach of the NFL's New Orleans Saints.
