Spartans Lose Home Opener

Michigan State's hockey team lost its home opening game Friday night, 4-1 to U Mass Lowell. The Spartans fell behind 3-0 by the midway point of the third period before MacKenzie MacEachern scored MSU's first home goal of the season. The Spartans have scored just four goals in their first three games. The River Hawks improve to 2-3 on the season while MSU is now 0-3and hosts Boston University at 7pm Saturday in Munn Arena. is happy to provide a forum for commenting and discussion.
