Brendan Dawson, returning from a knee injury near the end of last season, scored 16 points and led Michigan State's basketball team to an 85-57 exhibition win over Northwood of Florida Tuesday night in the Breslin Center. Freshman Gary Harris scored 14, Derrick Nix 13 and Travis Trice 12. The Spartans led 34-28 at halftime. They committed 17 turnovers but shot 50.7 per cent from the field. MSU hosts St. Cloud State at 8:30pm Friday in a final exhibition before heading to Germany next week and the Nov. 9th opening game against Connecticut.
