Michigan State's baseball team worked out in Greenville, South Carolina Thursday, one day prior to its 2013 season opener. The Spartans face Furman at 5pm Friday and also face Miami of Ohio and Northwestern during the opening weekend. Weather is expected to be in the 60s with sunshine for the first day's play. MSU flew to Greenville early Thursday morning. The Spartans return to Greenville in two weeks to also play a weekend series of non conference games.
