Former Michigan State linebacker Percy Snow was among 12 players named Wednesday to the College Hall of Fame. He will be enshrined December 10th in New York. The hall reopens in August, 2014 in Atlanta after spending years in South Bend, Indiana.
Snow won the Butkus and Lombardi awards in 1989, the first player to win both in the same year. He was a two time All American and starred for MSU coach George Perles from 1986-89. Snow is from Canton, Ohio and the brother of former MSU basketball player Eric Snow.
He was the 13th pick in the 1990 NFL draft and played five years in the league with the Kansas City Chiefs and Chicago Bears. He is the seventh former MSU player to be named to the Hall.
