Stanford has given football coach David Shaw what it calls a "long term contract extension" beyond the two years remaining on his current deal. Stanford has a pair of 11-2 seasons under Shaw, twice named PAC 12 Coach of the year. Stanford meets Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl. Shaw was an assistant at Stanford when Jim Harbaugh left for the San Francisco 49ers.
