Roof Coming to U. S. Open Stadium

The United States Tennis Association will formally announce Thursday plans to add a retractable roof to the Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York, site of the U. S. Open each year. In addition two new stadiums will be built along with a plaza for fans to view practices. The plan has been in the making for years because the USTA wants to limit weather delays when the Open is being played. is happy to provide a forum for commenting and discussion.
