The United States Tennis Association will formally announce Thursday plans to add a retractable roof to the Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York, site of the U. S. Open each year. In addition two new stadiums will be built along with a plaza for fans to view practices. The plan has been in the making for years because the USTA wants to limit weather delays when the Open is being played.
