Doctors have discovered a blood clot in the right left of New York Yankees ace relief pitcher Mariano Rivera. Because of it, surgery cannot be performed on his torn ACL until at least one week and perhaps two. The 42-year old Rivera says he intends to return in 2013 and pitch which he was thinking of doing before he was injured in Kansas City last week shagging fly balls.
