Rivera To Retire After This Season

The New York Yankees are due to announce in Tampa Saturday morning the retirement of relief pitching ace Mariano Rivera following the 2013 season. The 43-year old Rivera missed mos of last season with a torn ACL. He will pitch his first spring training game Saturday after the formal announcement. Rivera is the all time baseball saves leader with 608, seven more than Trevor Hoffman.
