A Presidential Council approved plans Wednesday for a revised division one college football playoff system tobegin in 2014. Meetings in Washington, D. C. produced formal approval. A four team playoff will be determined by committee. Six bowls will be used for semi-finals on a rotating basis with cities getting to bid to host the championship game. Many details are yet to be worked out.
